RIGHT HERE. RIGHT NOW. featured performance, installation, music, film and food in a 3.5-hour contemporary place-based experience in the heart of Blacktown from 1 - 17 November 2018.
Across three weekends in November we welcomed you to experience a suite of new works developed by local and international artists and presented in Blacktown restaurants and arcades.
Immerse yourself in an aural world of late night phones calls and philosophical musings; be wowed by handwoven trampolines created with the community; hear the rhythm of the suburb in two new percussion compositions; reflect on First People’s stories and the history of place and share fine food with new friends at a local restaurant.
The hosts for the evening were the inimitable Kween G, Nancy Denis and Nitin Vengurlekar who ensured that you were suitably guided through the experience.
