Don't Ask the Trees for Their NamesIn this intimate gathering of words and music, communities are invited into an honest and informal conversation with the authors of Don't Ask the Trees for Their Names.
This book is a newly published tapestry of short stories written by nine Arab women: Kilda Eid, Nouha El-Khoury Francis, Oula Ghannoum, Loubna Haikal, Mary Hanoun Khilla, Mariam Maatooq, Camelia Naim, Hend Saab and Sivine Tabbouch.
Interwoven with live musical interludes and readings from the book, the conversation explores the collective journey of writing, the complexities of navigating Australian culture, and the personal and political truths that shaped the authors' debut collection.
