DEMOCRATIC GARDEN is a celebration of the people and the rich cultural diversity of Blacktown.

Using demographics, geography and local knowledge, Urban Theatre Projects, in collaboration with a keen group of local residents, have created a visually impressive vertical garden inspired by Blacktown and its surrounding suburbs.

DEMOCRATIC GARDEN is installed in the car park at the Blacktown Arts Centre from Thursday, 9 October and on display until Saturday, 1 November when the public are invited back to see DEMOCRATIC GARDEN in full bloom, and can take home plants as part of this living installation.
