Another World Festival

14 November —
16 November 2025
Another World Festival

Another World Festival is Utp’s inaugural experimental festival. Spanning 3 days, we will present progress showings, an exhibition, text and talks.

Connecting community and experimental arts, we bring together intersectional artists in Utp’s orbit to present new works on Dharug Nura first. We invite you to shape and engage with works incubated in the heart of Western Sydney, with ideas that will resonate well beyond.

In this festival, artists are not only imagining but creating alternate worlds that explore new ways of thinking, seeing or being. Expanding on our 2025 provocation who is ready for another world, the projects and processes shine light on possible paths to collective liberation.

Utp is a Western Sydney experimental arts organisation, supporting independent artists to make form-pushing, breakthrough works. We platform artists who speak their truth and by extension, oppose systems in hard and soft ways.

Dates: 14 - 16 November 2025

Support experimental arts in Western Sydney – you can help keep this festival affordable and accessible by making a donation

Utp (Urban Theatre Projects) is a charitable institution and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

This isn’t just financial support. It’s a powerful statement: that diverse voices matter, and that they deserve space, resources, and recognition. By donating, you’re investing in the future of Australia’s cultural landscape, one that’s inclusive, innovative, and truly representative.

With your support…

  • Artists thrive. Intersectional artists are given time, space, resources, and platforms to create and present work without compromise.
  • Audiences grow. Diverse communities see themselves reflected, respected, and celebrated in the arts.
  • Dialogue deepens. We create brave spaces for dialogue on justice, identity, belonging, and change.
  • Culture shifts. Art leads the way in shifting social narratives, fostering empathy and long-term cultural transformation.
